Treatment Plan

During your visit we explain what we found and how we may be able to help you.
It’s important to understand that one or two (1 or 2) visits to a chiropractor is not enough to solve your problem. You didn’t get that way in 1 or 2 days or hours. Chiropractic care is like building a house; things should be done in a particular order. If you tried to put the roof on your house before the walls were ready, the house would collapse. The same is true of your body. Subsequent visits will be necessary to re-train your body not to cause you pain, and to help the muscles and tissues heal. How many visits will be entirely up to you. Sometimes 4-8 visits are sufficient for your initial treatment, followed by routine maintenance visits. Some folks may need to come in 1-2-times a week for 6 – 8 weeks; each person is different. During these follow-up visits you will receive further adjustments and any other therapies such as physiotherapy, exercise and rehab instruction, heat/ice, electrotherapy, traction, that are appropriate to your care. After we study your health history and correlate our examination findings, we’ll make recommendations designed to help you get and keep your health. The doctor may also recommend you have x-rays to help correlate his findings. These can be done at your convenience, at any of the local out-patient facilities.
Subsequent visits usually take around 20 – 30 minutes.
We recognize your time is valuable. We do everything possible to run on time and minimize the impact on your busy life.
Massage Therapy
We also offer 30, 60 and 90 minute massage therapy in our office to help alleviate your pain and to help you relax. Many Insurance carriers provide massage therapy as a part of chiropractic care.
